Appointments

We at Surgical Associates think you’ll be pleased with the professional, helpful treatment you’ll receive when you contact or visit us. There are several ways you can schedule an appointment with one of our outstanding physicians:

By Phone: To speak directly with scheduling personnel, please call our main office at (918) 505-3400 Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Each physician is scheduled in the office at certain times during the week. While you are on the phone, our staff will advise you of these times to make the most convenient appointment for you.

By E-mail: To request an appointment via e-mail with one of the Surgical Associates physicians, or to request a change in an appointment you have already scheduled, click here. A staff member will review your request and contact you by phone or e-mail with the details of your appointment.

If you or your doctor request that you see a specific Surgical Associates physician, we will make every effort to provide you an appointment with that surgeon. If you do not indicate a surgeon preference, your appointment will be made with an available physician at a time that is convenient for you. Subsequent appointments are made with the same doctor to provide you the best possible continuity of care.

Your physician may order X-rays or lab work that will need to be done outside of our office prior to your visit. He also may want to view existing X-ray films and reports at the time of your visit, particularly mammograms. Please ask the receptionist when you make your appointment if you’ll need to bring these studies from your radiologist’s office.

While we try our very best to meet all of our scheduled appointments, it is sometimes difficult to predict exactly how much time a patient’s care will require, and occasionally important interruptions occur. When delays or cancellations arise, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Your First Visit to Surgical Associates

Our goal is to make your visits with us as satisfying and comfortable as possible. When you arrive, please check in with our receptionist. Each Surgical Associates physician is helped by a medical assistant who will greet you and help you prepare for the visit with your physician.

On your first visit to our office, we ask that you complete some necessary paperwork, including your medical and insurance information. For your convenience, this paperwork also can be completed before your visit. Click here to access our online medical forms.

At the conclusion of your visit, you will receive an itemized bill that shows all charges for your care along with insurance codes. If you are to have an in- or out-patient operation, a Surgical Associates staff member will meet with you to share any requirements before surgery, tell you about your hospital routine and answer any questions about what you and your family might expect.

Prescription refills can be handled during your scheduled visit or may be called in by your pharmacist during office hours.
